The iPhone 15, which will be released by Apple on December 12, may include five variants rather than the four that the company has announced in previous years. According to Majin Bu, the new device could be the iPhone 15 Ultra, which was revealed on Friday (1).
According to him, this expected new version will feature the series’ most advanced technical chart, as the name suggest. Between the differences are 8 GB of RAM, an internal storage capacity of up to 2 TB, and additional camera abilities.

According to the report, the awaited iPhone Ultra version, which was previously expected to be released only in 2024, will include a 6.73-inch screen, an A17 Bionic chip, and a battery with a capacity of 4.700 mAh. The camera package will include three rear-facing sensors with an overall resolution of 48 MP + 12 MP + 12 MP, as well as a front-facing camera with a resolution of 12 MP.
According to the report, the iPhone 15 Pro Max will have 6 GB of RAM and a storage capacity of 1 TB. People interested in a phone with more storage space for documents would have to choose the Ultra variant. The remaining resources must be the same in both variants.
Additional extra cost

As expected, the improvements shown in the reported line’s most popular model should result in higher prices. According to Majin Bu, the iPhone 15 Ultra could cost up to $100 more than the iPhone 15 Pro Max, which is now priced at around R$ 491.
Whatever the report, it is essential to note that previous predictions point to the Ultra variant launching only on the iPhone 16 in 2024, according to Mark Gurman, a well-known Apple expert. Aside from that, there are questions about whether it will be an additional option in the line or whether it would replace the Pro Max model.
But, if the most recent rumor is true, Apple’s upcoming product lineup will include the following models:
iPhone 15
iPhone 15 Plus
iPhone 15 Pro
iPhone 15 Pro Max
iPhone 15 Ultra
